Recently Apple announced plans to build a giant solar farm that will offset all emissions caused by their California operations. Apple has also announced plans to build two giant data centers in Ireland and Denmark that will be powered by renewable sources and create hundreds of new jobs. Apple will invest $1.9 billion in building the new data centers making it their biggest European project to date. The data centers will provide services like iMessage, Siri, and the iTunes store, among other offerings. Both centers will be up and running in by the end of 2017.
