This weekend, Israelis and Palestinians marched together in a Jerusalem solidarity rally. Together, they were calling for an end to the current wave of violence. In addition, they demanded peaceful talks toward a two-state solution in the region. The event was organized on Facebook. Demonstrators, many from left-wing activist groups, marched through the streets while carrying banners reading “Standing together”.
