Compare that with $1.1 paid by Australians, the third-lowest price, and you already get an idea of how ridiculously low America’s gas prices are. In countries like Italy or Norway, the price stands is as high as $2 per liter, or nearly $8 per gallon. Of course, there is something you can do if you still find gas prices to expensive—go electric.
