The 28-nation bloc will try to offset its carbon emissions by methods of removing warming gases from the atmosphere. The plan includes strategies like ramping up clean energy projects, expanding its forest areas and using carbon capture technologies to bury the gases underground. This is a major step in the world’s endeavor to prevent a disastrous climate change.
