Typically when you think of vending machine food, you think of colorfully packaged sweets that are full of sugar. A Montreal-based startup is challenging that idea with the creation of a new vending machine that sells raw salad instead. The salad is conveniently packaged in sustainable glass containers and has a four to five day shelf life. Not only are the meals healthy, but the vending machines they’re in are eco-friendly as they’re made out of old vending machine parts. The startup behind the raw salad vending machine believes they’re perfect for corporate buildings and office spaces.
