Canada has as many female as male ministers in the government. The new Spanish government has more women than men. And recently, for the first time, women foreign ministers of almost 20 countries came together in Montreal. At the same time, gender equality still requires much more effort. That’s why it’s very welcome that California, as the first U.S. state, is requiring women on all company boards in the state.
