The land of the midnight sun is seeing an admirable upsurge in electric cars on its streets. Some 30 percent of all new cars sport plug-in cables rather than gasoline tanks, compared with 2 percent across Europe overall and 1-2 percent in the US. This follows Norway’s pledge to reduce emissions of greenhouse gases by 40 percent by 2030.
