EMISSARY BIO

  • NAME: Sadie W.
  • FROM: Seattle, WA
  • AGE: 22
  • OCCUPATION / PASSION: Marketing greenhorn, outdoors enthusiast, and free-spirited yogi.
  • WHY DID YOU BECOME AN OPTIMIST EMISSARY? I became an Optimist Emissary when I realized that if I was going to achieve what I wanted to in life, I didn’t have time for pessimism. I refused to let my energies be further drained by doom and gloom. I only wanted to fill my tank. Once I chose the path of an Optimist, my life began to transform before my eyes. I saw the opportunities in challenges. I thought of creative solutions to problems that before seemed insurmountable. I learned that optimism is the only choice if you want to make a positive difference in the world. Over time, I found myself sharing solutions news with my family and friends. Now my father and my grandma are Optimist Emissaries as well.
