Today’s Solutions: May 03, 2024

Not long ago we wrote about how a group of artists in Rotterdam have put up a breathtaking light show using drones, as a means to thank healthcare workers for their heroic efforts in the fight against the pandemic.

A similarly spectacular showcase happened recently in the South Korean capital of Seoul, where the government organized a light drone show over the city’s main river to both thank its frontline medical staff for their hard work as well as remind citizens to respect safety measures.

The 10-minute long show took place on Saturday night and featured 300 drones programmed to form images above the Han River. It began with displaying messages of key precautionary measures including wearing masks, washing hands and keeping physical distance, before sharing a message of gratitude for medical staff.
