A new technology could eliminate the sometimes nervy process of withdrawing money from the ATM. Citigroup has begun testing its own kind of money machine that has no screen or PIN pad, and that allows customers to withdraw money by scanning their eyes. First, customers would use the bank’s mobile app ahead of time to sign in and select how much money they want to withdraw. Then when they reach one of these new ATMS, they would have their iris scanned and receive the amount of money they had selected before. The new technology could rid the need for bank cards, effectively securing your important personal information and savings.
