Today’s Solutions: February 23, 2026

We all wish we could make changes in our lives. The good news is, we can! We are in control of so much, and yet we behave like we don’t have a choice. We make excuses. We beat ourselves up or complain that we eat poorly, don’t exercise enough, don’t crack open that French textbook. Or we leave meditating, singing, painting, learning the piano for another day, that hypothetical day in the distant future when life finally leaves us with enough time to do what we say we truly want to do. How about starting now with just one thing? And how about focusing just on the first step? Over and over again. Forging new habits is absolutely within our reach. Here are four easy steps to overcome our defeatist mind.
