Several studies show that yoga is the best form of exercise to help improve low mood, anxiety and reduce stress and even beat depression. One of the studies found that veterans who took twice-weekly yoga glasses for eight weeks had fewer symptoms. Another study found women aged 25 to 45 who took part in twice-weekly hot yoga sessions over a period of eight weeks also had significantly reduced depression symptoms compared to those on a waiting list for classes.
