Without an official ID, it’s nearly impossible to advance in society. Refugees know this better than anyone else. Getting an official ID is a difficult, lengthy process, but through use of a cryptographic ledger called blockchain, millions of refugees may soon be able to get a secure digital form of identification that can’t be corrupted and is easily accessible from anywhere.
