But most of them leave out the opportunity costs involved with starting your day at four or five in the morning. By doing this, you will either be sleep-deprived throughout the day, or you will have to cut down on other non-work-related areas in your private life such as exercise or spending quality time with friends and family. So, before you start adjusting your wake-up time, consider what you’re forfeiting when you start waking up well before dawn.
