Amid the government shutdown, National Parks are suffering from a lack of employees to collect entrance fees, gather trash or clean bathrooms. Thus, with overflowing trash and unsanitary toilets, parks are shutting down. An exception is Yellowstone National Park, which is benefiting from local businesses pitching in to pay park staff and even guide services to keep it open.
