Today’s Solutions: December 20, 2025

It’s been a long time since we’ve been able to say this, but both sides of Congress have been working well together lately. At least, when it comes to public lands they are. The Senate already approved the Natural Resource Management act earlier this month, which will designate roughly 1.3 million acres as wilderness and establishes four national monuments. Now Congress has hopped on board and approved the bill, which will also expand Joshua Tree National Park, Death Valley, and the Mojave National Preserve. Considering the bill has received an unusual amount of support from both Democrats and Republicans, the President is expected to sign it into law.
