Nevertheless, innovative female leaders in tech, food, and finance are demonstrating on a daily basis that women are bringing ideas to the table that are shaping the future of these fields. 

From Ennie Lim’s company, HoneyBee, which gives small loans through employers for needed expenses to Lisa Sedlar’s Green Zebra Grocery, a healthy take on the age-old corner store, these ten women are shaking up their industries and showing that gender isn’t a barrier to success, no matter what the field.  In fact, it may be just the factor that gives an entrepreneur that outside-the-box insight needed to transform an entire field!
