Today’s Solutions: March 25, 2026

At the Optimist Daily, we love diving into photo galleries of nature and wildlife. They’re a wonderful reminder of the precious beauty we’re trying to preserve and regenerate in our world and of the drama that plays out in nature outside our day-to-day lives.

During this year’s wildlife photographer of the year awards, Chinese photographer, Yongqing Bao, took first place with his spectacular image, which he called The Moment. The photo frames the standoff between a Tibetan Fox and a marmot, capturing both the humor and horror in that particular moment. You can get a better look at The Moment—and all the winners from this year’s competition—right here.
