China went from being poorer than Kenya, Lesotho, and Nigeria to rivaling the United States for the title of largest economy in the world. Now China’s newfound prosperity is spreading beyond its borders, spawning the creation of many new factories in Africa. With eight of the ten fastest-growing economies in the world over the next decade projected to be in Africa, the emergence of Chinese factories looks to be just the start of a new economic boom on the continent.
