Today’s Solutions: August 03, 2026

Two years ago you would have never expected the world’s fast-food restaurants to start serving plant-based meat, but now they’re all jumping onto the bandwagon one after another. Restaurants such as KFC, Burger King, and McDonald’s have all adopted meat alternatives to their fast-food classics.

This week, Denny’s has joined the trend and announced they will begin serving Beyond Burgers in their Los Angeles locations and will take their meatless meat nationwide in 2020. They are even offering a free drink promotion with Beyond Burger purchases to encourage patrons to try the new recipe.

We at the Optimist Daily have been following the plant-based meat trend closely, as people turn to it as an ethical and environmentally friendly option for those who do not want to sacrifice the flavor or texture of the real deal. If you’re not a Denny’s diner, but want to give it a try, check this article for a list of everywhere you can buy meatless meat.
