Chipotle holds their meat suppliers to high standards, and if they aren’t met then no business will be done. That’s why at about 30 percent of Chipotle restaurants aren’t currently serving carnitas, slow cooked pork. One of Chipotle’s major pork suppliers was caught not having adequate house for their pigs. Chipotle mandates that all animals from their meat suppliers must have access to the outdoors and not be held in cramped pens. We’re glad at least one fast food chain thinks animal rights are more important than quarterly profit margins.
