Today’s Solutions: April 29, 2024

Denmark has set a world record for wind energy. The achievement is hailed as “the key to stop global warming”. Last  year, almost 40% of electricity consumption used in the country came from its wind turbines, making it the world’s leading nation in wind-based power. In January, this figure peaked with just over 60% of Danes’ energy consumption in that month coming from the wind. The announcement means the government is on track to meet its 2020 target for 50% of all energy consumption from renewable sources.
