Researchers at UCLA found that meditation helps you maintain grey matter in your brain, as you get older and keeps your brain from aging. A type of meditation called Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction has been proven to reduce anxiety while simultaneously increasing activity in the areas of the brain associated with memory and learning.
