Today’s Solutions: April 20, 2026

We’re nearly three weeks into February and let’s face it—many of us have abandoned our New Years gym going resolutions. But why is it that so many of us have hard times keeping our workout regiments? A recent study asked this same question and as it turns out mindfulness—defined as being aware in the present moment—plays a large roll. Those who enjoyed being present in their work out were more likely to exercise and vice versa. But before you click away while saying “Duh…” there is some weight to this. Maybe you stopped exercising because you haven’t found something you truly enjoy, and want to do. Forcing yourself into the gym everyday is hard, so maybe try riding a bike, swimming, or Yoga. There are so many ways to get your body moving, if you don’t like exercise it’s probably because you haven’t found the right one yet.
