MetaWear, a T-shirt manufacturer in Fairfax, Virginia, has decided to lead by example, launching the first American-based Global Organic Textile Standard–certified factory. Powered by solar and geothermal processes, the facility aims to set the standard for ethical, eco-friendly textile production and manufacturing in the U.S. We can’t wait to see who will be first to heed MetaWear’s invitation and help create a movement .
