Each year, Médecins Sans Frontières (Doctors Without Borders) attempts to do more with less money, and this year that enforced ingenuity has spawned a truly remarkable concept—the Mobile Unit Surgical Trailer (MUST). The MUST is a complete mobile hospital on wheels, fully equipped with recovery ICU and sterilization room along with all the medical supplies and logistics stock needed for a week of autonomous operation. Only one MUST has been built so far, but there are plans to build many more when finances allow.
