The new generation spends too much time online, busy parents know. However researchers have found that children who play video games for less than an hour a day are better adjusted to the challenges of their lives than children who abstain for playing video games altogether. The study, published in Pediactrics, asked a group of children a series of questions including how satisfied they were with their life and how well they got along with their peers. The study concluded that children who played short amounts of video games each day were generally happier with their lives than those who played no video games at all. Those who played excessive amounts of video games experienced lower satisfaction with their lives.
