Want to lose a few more pounds by the end of summer? Then you should add some beans, peas, chickpeas, and lentils to your diet. New research from St. Michael’s Hospital in Canada have found that those who eat 160 grams of pulses a day feel 30% fuller than those who don’t eat them, and as a result eat less and lose weight. Pulses are a low glycaemic food, meaning they take longer and require less blood sugar to be broken down.
