Today’s Solutions: January 12, 2026

Many of us find that juggling professional imperatives, family demands, tight schedules and nerve-racking deadlines, is not conducive to carving time out on a regular, consistent basis to take care of oneself. Good resolutions fall by the wayside before they’ve even made it to the kitchen white board. Working out is typically on top of that doomed list. That’s why we love this reminder, brought to us by a new fitness blog, to ask oneself: What do I love to do? What sounds fun to me? If one busy bee can justify finding time to do something fun because it’s good for her health, she’ll be more likely to give herself permission to indulge. And the promise of having fun can definitely give us the nudge to take a break from all the busy-ness and finally attend to one’s body health and mental sanity.
