A group of South Korean entrepreneurs has created the ultimate bike lock. The cylindrical device can be permanently installed on the front wheel of a bike and locks it automatically when the rider walks away from the parked bike. The rider connects to the lock with their phone through Bluetooth. When the phone is out of the Bluetooth’s range, the lock prevents the wheel from moving. When a thief tries to steal the bike the device produces a loud alarm as well. The bike can only be moved again when the owner is back in bluetooth range with his phone.
