If you are a lover of chocolate, we have great news for you. A new study has found that the natural compounds found in the cocoa bean have neuro-protective effects. In other words, problem-solving, memory and general cognition skills are kept sharp when we eat chocolate or drink cocoa. To get the benefits, however, avoid commercially-available chocolates that have additives like sugar and milk, and choose instead dark chocolate.
