When you think of electric cars, Tesla is probably the first one to come to mind. The US electric vehicle market, however, isn’t completely dominated by one company. In fact, the Chevy Bolt is currently the best-selling electric vehicle, having outsold all other contenders last month, including all three Tesla models. While news of the Bolt’s success may not be music to Elon Musk’s ears, it does reveal that there is healthy competition in the electric vehicle market, which helps to spur more innovation.
