Today’s Solutions: February 13, 2025

When people come together and focus their energy on one thing, amazing things can happen. Just look at the state of Madhya Pradesh in India where an estimated 1.5 million people gathered together to plant more than 66 million tree saplings in just 12 hours along one of the major rivers in the region. The effort bested Uttar Pradesh’s previous Guinness World Record when 800,000 participants planted 50 million trees in one day in 2016. The main motive behind the mass-planting event was to raise awareness for the nation’s ‘Make India Green Again’ plan, a pledge made by the country at the Paris climate conference to increase its forestry to 235 million acres by 2030.
