Today’s Solutions: April 25, 2025

Salesforce has recently unveiled a new tool which will help companies track how much pollution they are putting into the atmosphere. With the new tool, called Sustainability Cloud,  companies will be able to track their pollution by measuring things like the firm’s energy usage and travel-related carbon emissions.

Other features will include giving companies the ability to easily and intuitively store their carbon footprint data without relying on the use of spreadsheets. The use of the software could also establish a standardized format to present and analyze data on pollution generated for every company.

The new tool stems from the system Salesforce developed to track its own carbon footprint data. This has come to great benefit for Salesforce, whose emissions have grown steadily over the past two years through expansion. With greater transparency, the company pledges 100 percent renewable energy usage by 2022.
