Guy Fieri is best known for his eccentric hair and delectable Food Network Series, but the celeb chef is also quite the philanthropist in his community. Most recently, Fieri fed 2,000 firefighters battling the wildfires in northern California.

The “Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives” star grew up in Sonoma and Napa counties, so when the fast moving Glass Fire broke out earlier this month, he headed to the frontline to serve up penne pasta, salad, and garlic bread.

This isn’t the first time he has stepped up to support first responders. Fieri held a similar event last month as well as in 2017 and 2018.

At the beginning of the pandemic, Fieri raised over $20 million for the Restaurant Employee Relief Fund. The chef is a great example of a celebrity giving back to their community during a time of need.
