One way, a researcher found, is simple to cut aggressive liana vines in Africa’s jungles to allow trees to recover more quickly and robustly. By doing this, trees can grow healthier and larger, which means they suck up more carbon. Considering that tropical jungles are the best sponges of carbon, this simple plan can help a lot in the fight against climate change.
