There is an abundant amount of productivity blogs and articles that recommend waking up early in the morning as a hack for a successful life. But most of them leave out the opportunity costs involved with starting your day at four or five in the morning. By doing this, you will either be sleep-deprived throughout the day, or you will have to cut down on other non-work-related areas in your private life such as exercise or spending quality time with friends and family. So, before you start adjusting your wake-up time, consider what you’re forfeiting when you start waking up well before dawn.
