Today’s Solutions: September 15, 2026

Last year, the Impossible Burger made its way into fast food, grocery stores, and even high-end restaurants. This year, they are building upon their highly convincing fake meat with their new product: Impossible Pork.

Like the Impossible Burger, Impossible Pork has a texture and taste that nearly replicates the real deal. The company uses simple nutrients like amino acids, sugars, and fats that react with soy leghemoglobin to produce a convincing meat substitute. It also has 16 grams of protein, 3mg iron, 0mg cholesterol, 13g total fat, 7g saturated fat and 220 calories in a four-ounce serving.

The company has not officially released the product yet, but it hopes to specifically target the Asian market where pork consumption has increased by 140% since 1990. While pigs do not have the same degree of negative climate impact as cows, the company aims to create a wide variety of meat substitutes to remove all negative aspects of animal agriculture.
