Perhaps as famous as the Super Bowl itself is the advertising dollars spent on creating ingenious campaigns during the broadcast. This year, Anheuser-Busch, which usually runs their iconic Budweiser ads during the Super Bowl, has decided to divert those specific funds to something more impactful.

The company will donate the money usually spent on the majestic Clydesdales to coronavirus vaccination awareness efforts. According to Monica Rustgi, Budweiser’s vice president of marketing, the exact donation amount has yet to be revealed, but it will be a “multi-million dollar” commitment.

In addition to a monetary donation, the company will also provide free airtime to the nonprofit the Ad Council as well as COVID Collaborative’s COVID-19 Vaccine Education Initiative.
