Hesperidin: This fruit-based compound has been shown to lower blood pressure and support the vascular system. Enjoy citrus-like limes, oranges, and lemons to get a hesperidia-based energy boost.

Citrulline: An amino acid, citrulline can help reduce blood pressure in adults with hypertension and boost athletic performance. You’ll find this compound in watermelon (including the rind).

Rutin: Studies suggest that this antioxidant may protect against neurodegenerative diseases like Alzheimer’s and dementia. Rutin can be sourced from apples, nettle, buckwheat, apricots, cherries, and plums.
