Website host GoDaddy has taken down Texas Right to Life’s abortion whistleblowing website for violating its terms of service. GoDaddy specifically cites Section 5.2, which states “You will not collect or harvest (or permit anyone else to collect or harvest) any User Content (as defined below) or any non-public or personally identifiable information about another User or any other person or entity without their express prior written consent.”

The site was transferred over to Epik, the provider that supported controversial sites Gab, Parler, and 8chan, however, the site remained functionally inactive in Epik as well.

On Sunday, prolifewhistleblower.com redirected to Texas Right to Life’s primary website, instead of the previous domain. Epik claims responsibility, stating it “persuaded them to stop collecting anonymous tips and to take it off the internet entirely.”

Even before the site was taken down, its efficacy was in doubt, with one Tik Tok activist having created a script to feed fake reports into the website’s tip box. He told the New York Times that the tool had already received over 15,000 clicks.
