While the economy is struggling and employment rates remain high, there appears to be a demand for green job. More than 12,500 green jobs were announced in the second quarter of 2014. That is more than double the number of jobs announced in the first quarter, according to a new report from Environmental Entrepreneurs. Solar power generation led all sectors in the second quarter with more than 5,300 jobs announced; wind industry announced more that 2,700 jobs. Other major job generator came from electric car manufacturers.
