Inspired by Nobel Peace Prize winner and social business pioneer, Muhammad Yunus, this region of France has declared itself “a hub for social enterprise”. Social entrepreneurs who want to serve society through their businesses see themselves as a replacement for governments. Northern France has many social issues to tackle and the “Social Business Region” is the right innovation for a place that can surely use it.
