With the United Nations global climate conference in Paris only a month away, France made it top priority to work towards a major climate change deal. The Guardian reports climate diplomacy has never seen such a concerted push to forge a new global agreement on climate change. In the past couple of months French  ambassadors all over the world, from Poland to India, have been educated on the demands of climate change, and instructed in how to communicate these messages to the governments they deal with. French diplomats have also been working to include civil society groups and businesses at a high levels. Even the Eiffel Tower is now lighting up at night with climate slogans. The conference, about to start November 30, is seen as a make-or-break conference, a chance to really turn around climate change in the next couple of decades. The French drive for a deal is promising.
