Here’s a simple suggestion that has worked well in sports. When there’s a dispute between players and referees, a replay can resolve the situation. Similarly, it would be a great idea to introduce independent fact-checking in political debates. If one candidate makes an outrageous statement, the facts can be checked at the spot to protect the political discourse.
