More and more people are finding that the Internet enables them to escape the rat race and organize their lives according to their own desires and priorities. Journalist Gerhard Hormann goes even further and thinks we should spend more time doing nothing. Well, not really nothing. His ideal life consists of a simple house, on a lake, with a record player and a vegetable garden. Hormann wants to “work four hours a day, relax for four hours, and spend four hours contributing to society, such as caring for someone else.”
