Total clean energy investment in the second quarter topped at $63 billion, which makes it the strongest quarter in the past two years. Bloomberg New Energy Finance cites home installation of solar panels as one of the main contributors to renewable energy investments. China was the largest contributor in the recent quarter investing $19.3 billion.
