A new solar-powered hand-held voting machine should help prevent election fraud in Nigeria. The small size of the machine also marks a substantial improvement in making voting more accessible to all communities, including those in remote areas. The increased speed of voting electronically could also help prevent the manipulation of results, something that’s been a major issue in Nigeria.
