A new study found that early-stage dementia patients and caregivers who participated in a mindfulness classes reported decreased levels of depression, better sleep, and an overall improvement in quality of life. Mindfulness classes teach people attentive awareness and how to accept events, without judgment—beneficial qualities to have when suffering from, or coming in contact with someone suffering from dementia.
