Some estimates say that businesses that put people and the planet before profits cover over $6 trillion in assets—a 300 percent increase in the last decade. A large factor driving the growth are millennials—those born between 1980 and 2000—who are now entering the workforce with a different set of priorities and don’t find the need to segment profitable business and social responsibility. With the next generation of workers keen on a triple bottom line of people, planet and profit, the future of the planet looks much brighter.
